Viola Ashley Vincent, 87, of Bowling Green died at 6:00 AM June 26, 2012 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky Center in Bowling Green.

The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and member of New Home General Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late John William Ashley and Mary Agnes Blanton Ashley and the wife of the late Preston Vincent. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Dwight Vincent.

Surviving are a son, Dwight Vincent (Carolyn) of Oakland; a daughter, Alicia Hendrick (Kenny) of Bowling Green; three grandchildren, Chris Hendrick (Kasey), Wesley Hendrick and Heather Vincent; two great grandchildren, Hallee Jo Hendrick and Hunter Preston Hendrick; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at 1:00 PM Thursday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial in Dit Vincent Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-9 PM Wednesday and after 9 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
