Maciva Rose, 75, Glasgow, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital.  A native of Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late George Haskel and Ethel Nettie Harden Rose.  She was a retired printing press operator and loved fishing and carving.

Survivors include one daughter, Katherine Dian Bradbury of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Raychel Brandt of Minnesota, Kahlee Curry, Marissa Curry, and Mikayla Martin all of Illinois; one brother, John Robert Rose of Kentucky; three sisters, Lois Evans and Irma Peters of Kentucky, and Priscilla Rice of Hawaii; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Rose; three sisters, Barbara Jean Rose, Georgia Mae Rose, and Clyde McGee.

The family chose cremation.  Private services will be held at a later date.
