No one was injured in a fire on Old Munfordville Road last night. Glasgow Fire Chief Tony Atwood reported that the fire broke out around 7pm last (Wednesday) night on the back porch of the residence. Though the cause of the fire is officially undetermined at this time, Chief Atwood confirmed that it did begin in a flower pot on the back deck. The homeowners were at home at the time of the fire and were alerted to the fire by their smoke detector. No injuries occurred, and the fire was contained to the back porch area of the home. The Glasgow Fire Department responded to the scene and was assisted by the Barren-Metcalfe EMS.
