Mrs. Joyce Geraldine Smith Johnson, age 71, of Burkesville, Ky., passed away on Thursday May 17, 2012 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Ky.

Survivors Include her son, Bobby (Kathy) Johnson of Burkesville, Ky., her daughter, Teresa Johnson (special friend, Beth Lizer) of Nicholasville, Ky., her step-children, Larry Johnson of Lexington, Ky., Perry (Deb) Johnson of Beaver Dam, Ky., Nancy ( Lelan) Geary of Hartford, Ky., her brother, Teddy Smith of Muncie, Indiana, her brother-in-law, Howard Sewell of Sullivan, Indiana, her sister-in-law, Effie Johnson of Burkesville, Ky. 6 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Geraldine Smith Johnson will be conducted on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Ky. Burial will follow in the Burkesville Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 19, 2012 until service time on Sunday.
