A drug complaint led to the arrest of a Glasgow woman on multiple drug charges.

Just after 6-o’clock yesterday (Wednesday) evening, Glasgow Police Officers responded to an address on East Front Street in reference to a drug complaint. Upon arrival at the residence, 35-year-old Miriah Wright, of Glasgow, gave consent to search her purse and vehicle. The search netted in the finding of a bottle of diazepam pills and two packages of 30-gauge syringes inside Wright’s purse. One marijuana roach and more syringes were found in Wright’s vehicle.

Miriah Wright was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance-3rd degree, first offense.
