A city employee has been discharged from his duties after being arrested on drug charges.

According to a press release from the Glasgow Police department, Timothy Wayne “Bo” Shannon was arrested and taken into custody Thursday, May 10, 2012 after an investigation.

Shannon, an employee of the Glasgow Street Department since November 4th  2010,  is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree 1st offense.

Shannon has been discharged from his duties with the Glasgow Street Department.
