Hayward Spillman, Jr. 86 of Etoile in Barren County died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow.  Born in Barren County he was the 10th child of the late Hayward and Golda Johnson Spillman.  Jr. was a farmer and enjoyed raising horses and coon dogs.  He was a member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church and was a Mason, a member of the H.B. Grant Lodge F&AM at Etoile.

He is survived by a daughter Diane Clemmons and husband James of Etoile; 4 grandchildren, Todd Clemmons (Ruth) of Glasgow, Julie Phelps of Hiseville, Jon Michael Clemmons (Stephanie) of Glasgow and Brian Clemmons (Lynne) of Glasgow; 11 great-grandchildren Josh, Mandy and Jesse Clemmons, Colton Phelps and fiancée Haley Baird, McKarley, Tristan and Brier Phelps, and Berkley, Britton, Briggs and Mari Clemmons, and 1 great-great-grandchild Karter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Jones Spillman, a grandson Lincoln Cole Phelps and 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
