SEVERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES INVOLVED IN ARREST OF METCALFE COUNTY MAN ON NUMEROUS METH- AND MARIJUANA-RELATED CHARGES PDF Print

Metcalfe County Deputy Sheriff Josh Neal obtained a search warrant late Monday evening due to a tip with extensive information of a possible meth lab.

Officers went to the home of 57-year-old Leroyce Barlow at 610 Main Street in Edmonton, where Barlow was served with the warrant and officers began to search. They found numerous digital scales, batteries, acetone, funnels, grinders and other materials used to manufacture methamphetamine. Also found was a small metal container with two bags of what is believed to be methamphetamine.

Deputy Neal arrested Barlow and charged him with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st Offense; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Methamphetamine; Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Methamphetamine; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and, Possession of Marijuana. Barlow was lodged in the Barren County Correctional Center.

Deputy Neal was assisted by Sheriff Rondal Shirley, Deputy Jandt, members of the Edmonton Police Department, Regional Emergency Management Director Gary Fancher and the Kentucky State Police.
