Alma Inez Hurd, 91 of Tompkinsville passed away Sunday, February 19th at the Monroe County Medical Center. Inez was born in Tompkinsville on October 3, 1920, a daughter of the late Minnie and Oscar Copas. She was a housewife and a member of the Grandview Church of Christ.

He is survived by four sister; Eva Nell Copass and Polly Hurd both of Tompkinsville, Ailene Rich of Newport News, Virginia and Callie Choate of Martinsville, Indiana. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Comer Earl Hurd, her son; Jackie Earl Hurd, 3 brothers, Larkin Copas, Barlow Copas and Lloyd Copas and three sisters, Hazel Bartley, Ree Copas and Odell Hestand.

Funeral services for Alma Inez Hurd will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 1pm at the Yokley Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville chapel with burial in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 2pm to 9pm and Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 6am to 1pm at the funeral home.
