Samuel Edward “Fooman” Thompson II 34 of Glasgow died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  Born in Greensburg, KY he is the son of Samuel Edward & Louise Turner Thompson of Greensburg who survives.  Mr. Thompson was a mechanic at Bill Jones Alignment in Glasgow.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Angela Turner Thompson of Glasgow; 2 children Hunter & Caraline Thompson; 5 sisters Jackie Bennett (J.W.), Sherri Larimore (Tim), Deborah Hall (Bill), Joanie Chaney and Becky Benningfield (Larry); 2 brothers Billy Joe Thompson and Timmy Thompson (Diane); father-in-law Ricky Turner (Donna); mother-in-law Judy Turner and a special niece Kate Larimore.

Visitation will be from 10:00am until 5:00pm Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with cremation to follow.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the Sam Thompson Benefit Fund at South Central Bank 208 S. Broadway Glasgow, KY 42141.
