The City of Glasgow will be the new owners of property after the unanimous passing of two ordinances to purchase property for further landfill projects know as the William J. Rogers property.  $350,000 was appropriated to the landfill budget. 

The City also had much to celebrate as the Glasgow High School Football team was recognized at last night’s City Council Meeting.  The Scotties set 4 school records this past season for most consecutive wins, Most wins, most points scored, and fewest points allowed on route to the State Championship.

Councilman Wendell Honeycutt also made an announcement about a public hearing for city planning and zoning)
