James Charles Lindsey, age 68 of Brownsville died Sunday at his home.  He is an Edmonson County native, a retired employee of the City of Brownsville, the owner and operator of Lindsey’s Frame Shop and a 35 year member of the Brownsville Fire Department where he served as  chief for 15 years.  He was the son of the late Charles Thomas and Erma Delora Lindsey.  He is survived by 3 daughters, Sandy Martin of Glasgow, Sherry Gilmore and companion Randy of Lindseyville and Tammy Hughes and husband Don of Hiseville; a son Allen Martin and wife Pamela of Bowling Green.  6 grandsons, Jason Scott Wood, Josh Barnes, Chris Atkins, Tyler Gilmore, James Atkins and Allen Martin, Jr. and five great grand children.  Services for James Charles Lindsey will be at 1 pm Wednesday at Brownsville General Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Brownsville Cemetery.  Visitation from noon until 9 Tuesday and after 9 Wednesday at the Gravil Funeral Home.

 

Today is Anne Taylor Day!!  Anne had a birthday last week and she does a lot of volunteer work!!
