Walter Lee Puckett age 86 formerly of Wax died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Manorcare Prestwick in Avon, Indiana.  He was born in Bonnieville to the late Lawrence Clifton Puckett and Pearlie Jones Puckett.  He was a retired employee of Western Electric and was a previous member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Western Electric Pioneers and was active with the Hendricks County Senior Center. 

He is survived by one son, Greg Puckett and wife June of St. Cloud, Florida; two daughters Linda Ferguson and husband Duane of Danville, Indiana and Martha Jo Speckin and husband Bill of Clayton, Indiana; one brother James Puckett and wife Kay of Hardyville.  Eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also surviving. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Norman, Curtis and William Lee Puckett; four sisters Kathlee Puckett, Bessie Puckett, Alma G. Puckett and Ruby G. Taylor.

Funeral services for Walter Lee Puckett will be held at 1pm Friday, November 11, 2011 at the St. Benedict Catholic Church at Wax with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation Friday from 9am to 12noon at the Sego Funeral Home.
