Louise Freeman Cox 87 of Glasgow died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Barren County Health Care Facility.  She was born in Hart County the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie Thompson Freeman and was the wife of the late William A. “Bill” Cox.  Louise was a homemaker and a former employee of Handmacher and the Kentucky Pants Co.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and along with her late husband was active in the Barren River Rod and Gun Club.

Survivors include 3 sons, Larry Alexander (Betty Jane) of Glasgow, Danny Alexander (Andree` Genez) of Cary, NC and Mitch Alexander (Rebecca) of Fishers, IN; 2 step daughters Nancy Payne (Gary) of Bowling Green and Linda Parker (Charles) of London, KY;  1 sister Ann Kinser of Leitchfield, KY; 5 grandchildren Scotty Alexander (Angie), Sarah, Seth, Joel and Leah Alexander; 6 step grandchildren Chad Eads, Tiffany Eads, Micah Eads, Emily Perkins (Will), Melissa Tucker (fiancé David Ennis) and Megan Parker.  Seven Step-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
