Ivan David Walker age 78 of Center, formerly of Nobob, died Monday, June 27, 2011 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.  He was a self-employed furniture maker; a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Glasgow and a member of the Kentucky Bluegrass Fiddler’s Association. 

He is survived by his wife Judy Cruce Walker; two daughters Jennifer Moonsong Walker of Nobob and Tammy Walker of Edmonton; one step-daughter, Melissa Mandrell and husband Jimmy of Scottsville; daughter in law Beverly Walker of Summer Shade; two sons, Eddie Walker and wife Linda of Summer Shade and Rickie Walker of Edmonton; two step-sons Richard and Dennis Burris both of Ohio; two sisters Nellie Fernandez and Jo Anne Walden both of Glasgow; two brothers Robert Walker and wife Shirley of Shepherdsville and Oren Walker of Cave City. Fourteen grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren also surviving.  

He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Berniece Wilborn Walker; a son Ronnie "Goat Man" Walker; a grandson Terry David Walker; a sister Imiogene Walker and a step-son Russell McCluskey.

Funeral services for Ivan David Walker will be held at 11am Friday, July 1, 2011 at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial in the Walker Family Cemetery.  Visitation after 2pm Thursday.
