The announcement that the Kentucky Headhunters would be inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame came two weeks ago at a press conference in Lexington. The inductees include seven Kentucky-born groups and artists, including Exile, The Hilltoppers (Billy Vaughn), Steven Curtis Chapman, Skeeter Davis, Old Joe Clark and Emory and Linda Lou Martin.

Since the band’s formation, the multi-platinum, Grammy-winning Kentucky Headhunters has been touring constantly with hits like “Dumas Walker,” “Walk Softly On This Heart of Mine” and “Oh Lonesome Me.” They remain true to themselves and their home base of Edmonton, musically blending elements of Blues, Country, English Rock, Rockabilly, Jazz and Southern Rock.
